Living Through Music Alone Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Living Through Music Alone

Traveling down avenues of yesterday, enjoying sentimental joy
and happiness seen in each of them, settling in brain, mind
and intellect.

Watching and feeling everything having been done and felt back
then, still grief is hiding in each of them, because parents,
Aunts, Uncles and cousins are no longer here on earth.

Thinking about it, but that's all that can be done now, re-
living their memories, going on, finding a way even though
there's no longer anyone here to guide nor love.

A mere poet living through music and poetry alone, mind always
finding a way to express it poetically, sharing it all with the
world.
