Lockdown Poem by Solomon Senxer

Lockdown

Rating: 5.0

For the first time
I feel like I am being quarantined.

Light went off,
The fan stopped;

Water ran out,
No shower to stay cool.

India under lockdown,
Distant are the trees in the park.

Room like an oven,
Walking to and fro,

From the door to the window,
Wondering what looks best now!

Light, water or air that we need most,
Or the Coronavirus to go away!
