Loneliness Poem by Benjamin Paa Willie

Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

I had been asleep for so long
Very asleep to the song
I had assumed life goes on
Carried this excess ton
Excess ton of lies for too long

I had been too cocksure
Cocksure that pride has a cure
But to keep loneliness pure
It has found my innermost core
I in pain must now endure

When the days that fill your entirety
Present no one who really cares
You should know then why eternity
To some is but an endless curse
