Loneliness is not solitude

Loneliness is an emotion;
Wherein lies the feeling,
Of emptiness and isolation,
Being alienated from others,
Soul grieves alone in separation,
It is sad to be lonely,
When others are happy,
Though loneliness is not the same,
As being alone,
People sometimes prefer,
Through circumstances or choice,
To remain alone,
And if it’s under one’s control,
Proved to be positive and pleasurable,
This is what we call solitude,
When people make
A conscious choice to be alone,
Loneliness turns to unwilling solitude,
People have options to choose,
With whom to remain,
Being alone, loneliness gives pain,
And glory, solitude brings
In Earth and Heaven…………..
