I too have those lonesome days
Love can still hurt in different ways
Needing to be treated with respect
A kind hearted man is not easy to get
I want to experience love and romance
And have given half a dozen the chance

Then there is you, so very far away
Giving all the above in your wonderful way
So my love, you were very right in saying
Love must not hurt in this game we playing
As we keep talking when we have the opportunity
Trying to hold on to eachother in times of difficulty

We can see if our love can stand the test of time
But if you discover a special someone along the line
Don't let your loyalty to me stand in the way
We do not know when we will get our day
I will continue to love you all this while
All I want is to hear your happy smile
