Longing For A Beautiful Day (With You) - Poem by Michael P. McParland

I long for a beautiful day today with you.
To start this morning in your arms
snuggling on this chilly morning keeping each other warm.
I long to be here with my only one in bed
side by side feeling the true love that we share.
I long for a beautiful day with the Angel
who holds my heart and soul in every way.

I long to spend the early morning hours shaking off
the rust and dullness of sleep holding hands
and doing whatever various things we do with you.
I long to just sit at your side and see the brightness
of your smile and eyes.
I want to see the bright lights of life with you
as you light the world no matter the weather that's outside.
I want to spend a beautiful day with my Angel bride.

I long for that beautiful day to soon come
when I just spend endless time with you.
No matter what we do it will be filled with joy
as long as you are by my side.
Walks and talking having lunch,
cooking for my sweet one her favorite meals to please.
Reading and watching movies that we love,
giving myself to you in whole and full.
I love you dear and want our days in full so soon.
I long to spend this beautiful day with you.

My sweet lady I can't wait for each day
that I can hold you close telling you
about how I feel and adore you.
To share beautiful days and nights in each others arms.
You are what I want and need for all time,
I truly love you more than anyone or anything.
So come my dear and let me give you all I have,
I long for beautiful days with you as my bride.
