Longing For Peace
The bright blue sky,
That spans far and wide,
Way over the horizon,
I look to that sky,
A welcoming day,
A wonderful sight,
A grand part of life,
I hold onto so tight,
To the dreams,
To the hope,
That maybe one day,
Wars will end,
Evil will stray,
Deep to the depths,
Of all mankind,
That one day this earth,
Much peace may it find.
