If you're looking for something special,
It's there all about us for free.
For nature presents it's picturesque scene,
From a flower to a wild spreading tree.
It greets us in the morning,
On a brisk walk through morning dew,
It changes its many outfits,
From springtime to winter right through.
In spring the new shoots start peeping,
From their cold winter beds they will rise,
The daffodils glow in the afternoon sun,
Neath the sunshine,
Such a pleasant surprise.
In summer the borders, a colourful scene
Of natures most precious delight,
The birds sing their song from the start of the day,
Right through into fading light.
When autumn arrives, leaves change colour
from green, then to red into gold,
Winter brings so many berries,
That fill up the trees head to toe.
Nature a picture of beauty,
Lets us enjoy its grand scene,
It shares many picturesque moments,
Look around you, and you will see.
