With your head bent carelessly
..................................on my breast,
And your legs hot and trembling
................................. near my knee,
You lift your brown eyes,
........................and I feel caressed.
I struggle, awash with
................................... desire, Alfie.
Silky black curly hair,
........................ melting warm eyes.
Then stroking, I hear
.............. your soft breathy moans.
Snuggling together,
.................... I feel quite surprised
That you, with me, Alfie,
.......................... seem so at home.
Do all puppy dogs
.......................settle down so well?
My arms, encircling
.................such trusting toy frame
Feel soft tongued warmth,
................ so Alfie, please do tell.
Am I about to be losing
........................... my heart again?
As a fellow dog lover, I adore this poem. As a poet, I admire the clever way you have introduced your subject (I was quite aroused there for a moment, he he) . A joyful poem about love and licks! Hugs to your both, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Hi Fay - Beautiful - I love all your November Poems - You are a pleasure a perfect poet. What is it with Girls and Puppy Dogs? - For reincarnation I've ticked the box 'Golden Labrador - nice house in Cornwall - with lots of daughters! '. Us Boys would all love the same treatment - Snuggling - Stroking - Hugging - Kissing & Licking - I'll be your puppy Fay! In return we'd promise to be Faithful and Excited just to be with you. I love the structure - liguistically elegant couplets and lots of.................................. to give us space to use our cannine imagination. We all lost our hearts to this poem - lovely - TEN. Love you in Poetry - JOHN
