Losing Themselves Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Losing Themselves

Calculating purposes of usage while at work,
figuring out networks of incapacity, sitting
idly by.

Forcing orders aside, not doing their jobs,
not maintaining their positions.

As they lose ground with every thoughtless,
smart aleck remark, pushing themselves
farther from a raise than ever before.
