Within the empty forest,
The sun began to to shine.
What once was frozen within your heart,
Was now filled with warmth being mine.

The frost melted away.
You'd gained another day.
Before I knew,
Sweet flowers grew,
Within the dark decay.

And within the woods we stay.

The path we made,
It still remains.
The lake we loved,
It never left.

Even if you have stopped your own breath.

Within my mind,
Far away from this time.
The sun never sets and we both get to rest.
In this cruel world, I dream of the best.

And the best was always you.
