Loss Of Rhymes Poem by Airda Jones

Loss Of Rhymes

My heart has lost
It's only happiness
It writes of dark
As time grows less

No light to brighten
The lines and words
It's beautiful rhymes
Have now become a curse

No inspiration will help
Regain the strength I had
When life is purposely
Leading me to sad

It beats only now
For the purpose of life
But I keep wondering
If it will fail one night

I fear it will give up
Just as determination has
Left me like my will
Leaving depression to last

What was once the
Entire of my whole
I find only emptiness
Where ther was my soul

And I fear that these
Hot tears will always be fresh
Reminding me and stinging
Burning deep down into my flesh

My heart is aching
Greater as grows time
I fear that at any moment
It may run out of rhyme.
