Lost And Lonely! Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Lost And Lonely!

Rating: 5.0

Hey where is that road
That evades me
Where is that track
that leads me back
- - - - -
The wind is in the long grass
The sun is in the west
Shadows are at their longest
And I am lost at best
But thats okay my lovely
I will have a look around
And perhaps a little rest…..

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
There are many ways for one to be lost in hostility...but my country is not hostile if spoken to correctly....!

Hi Geoffrey, I totally agree with Roberts comment about your comment. I always read a comment if the poet leaves one. You have the first two lines or maybe more. As for lost, it can cause panic, but not in this instance as described in your poem.
