Bees and butterflies are in decline to be lost forever
Vital for human food chain and survival
Pollenating plants, fruit, crops, nourishing growth
Forsaken through bad stewardship and selfishness
Allowing global warming steadily increase
Glaciers melting, seas rising, forests burning
Nature in death throes with heat overwhelming
Because of ruthless destructive greed of humanity
Appointed by God stewards of the Garden of Eden
Who in foolish folly despoiled, corrupted, destroyed
Thinking only of personal pleasure and financial gain
Without thought for descendants survival
Inheriting the blue planet becoming too hot for life to exist
Where once the Garden of Eden flourished with butterflies.
