LOST IN TRANSLATION

'Oh, you...' she sighed
'...are such a beautiful mistake
but I'm prepared to make you! '

she translates
the unknown words
into the knowingness of a kiss

'...the usual household furniture
father mother brother sister
the spaces between them...'
