Lost Soul Poem by Paul Sebastian

Lost Soul

Rating: 3.0

My soul's soaking-wet with pain
How much more must I contain?
Memories haunt behind glassy pane
Illusions fall like pouring rain

Lost soul, wanders in hurts thicket
Grope in the dark, helplessly naked
Left in the lurch without any support
Past memories leave soul embittered

I must pick up and remember this:

No chains can bind my soul
No briars, memories of old
Nothing can weight me down
I walk alone, I move on
