Lost To Be Found Poem by Natalie Poette

Lost To Be Found

Rating: 4.8

Breathing in air, exhaling the fire
Fighting inside the persistent desire.
Red light merged with the light in my eyes
Everything rises and then slowly dies.

Thousand candles are burning in me
Right underneath the ancient tree
Where Buddha found his saint Paradise
I have lost myself more than just twice.

Bible insists that the Path isn't straight
I keep colliding with my very own Fate.
Walking in circles is how I will learn
Where the Past ends there will be new turn.

Fear of Unknown is gliding near by
Like a grey giant bird in the gloomy fall sky.
Reality hides under her massive wings
I fall through the tunnel of tight golden rings.

Is this the door to the other dimension?
Or am I stuck in psychedelic suspension?
Wires of Nature connect with the God
All my beliefs are nothing, but a fraud.

Sun shines at me with a razor sharp glow
There is so much more than I ever will know.
Expanding my Mind to the size of the quark
I'm dissolving in the cosmical dark.

A very good first poem, serious, full of imagery, keeping to a strict discipline of semi-classic verse format. Very well wrtten.
