When eyes can't endure your splendid rays
It searches for a balmy bower.
When skin can't bear your searing kiss
It searches for hold of serene breeze.
When shadow can't restrain your dazzling light
It searches for darkness, to hide into zilch.
When wild storm in winter gloom, shakes my heart
I don't know why it searches for none but you, Sun.
your hide and seek with Sun constitutes a worthy fantasy of love enthralling me.....full 10 points to you...

Hi Jaya, A beautiful poem on Love. 'Sun' as a metaphor for male lover is common in Indian poetry. Right from the times of our epics. Lotus stands in for the female counterpart. But, there is a very beautiful poem by great Malayalam poet Sri G. Sankara Kurup (Winner of the Bharatiy Jnanapith Award first time ever) , name Surya Kanti-means Sunflower. Now your poem takes a new angle. The scorching heat of the sunrays, the dazzling light etc. forces the lover to look for a cool shade. But, when disaster strikes, she looks forward to him for cover. Beautifully done.10++
