Love At First Sight. Poem by Gerald Opio

Love At First Sight.

Rating: 5.0

Love doesn't knock,
it befalls.
But whenever it does,
the heart anticipates promptly,
and it requites itself with love.

Love gets you off guard,
it doesn't alarm.
It captures your love triggers,
stimulating them imperatively.
Arousing all erotic edges availabile.

Love keeps on nursing the heart,
like a mother nurses her baby.
It enamors you with a stranger,
whom you just bumped into for the first time.
Making the attraction seem mutual and instant from first sight.

At the perception of her voice when you greet each other,
mesmerizing you complement it.
A voice sweet, tremulous, and powerful in conception.
Captivated, engulfed and consumed by love's whims, ready to entangle you are there and then.
Having been sweet on one another from first sight.
