Love Can Fly
Love has no wings, no propellers
But love can fly like woodpeckers
Love is invisible but love can punch
Harder than Ali or Tyson. Love can crunch
The heart without touching it or biting it
Love can sting like sweat bees
Love can be unpleasant like summer fleas
Love knows how to destroy bit by bit
Love is not a magician but love can disappear
And flee like a seagull snacking on a pier
Love has no wings, no propellers
But love can fly like red-breasted mergansers.
