The world is full of cruel people that will lead you on,
Fake love for the fun of it under the golden sun,
Taking advantage of your mind, soul and heart,
Only to entertain themselves before they tear you apart,

Expecting love from a heartless person is like,
Expecting a legless man to ride a mountain bike,
Like describing the vibrant colours of a rainbow to the blind,
Or explaining complex theories to a man who has lost his mind,

It is like playing the piano for a person who cannot hear,
Or buying earrings for a woman who has lost each ear,
It is like trying to convey the beauty of a touch on the skin,
To a person who is numb because of neuronal problems within,

It is like describing lovely scents to a woman that cannot smell,
Impossible and meaningless acts that will put you through hell,
Like explaining to a man without a tongue of the wonders of taste,
Just as giving love to the heartless, all of it just goes to waste.
