Love In Marriage Poem by Leslie Alexis

Love In Marriage

I want for when I be making love
That God be looking on and cheering from above.
Even then I want God on my team
For my wife in the spirit would really scream.
I want sex in marital union
I want for over and over me and her to be one.
I want for God to cheer from above
And in cohorts bless us with some new nerves.
Screaming of her, mine and, his name
I would not have in any other way: It is not the same!
That is the way God meant it to be,
And as a Christian my first mission, “Lord”, is pleasing thee.
