Love is a thin train ticket
With homesick carriages overloaded
Clattering on the Milky Way
Of the nostalgic calendar
It winds through the sleepless faces
Of the ruby ages
Exaltedly
Speeding to the canvas
With present ink and brushes of past
Unexpectedly
Captured by a moonlike heart.
Enjoyed the quiet cadence of your poem's rhythm, it rises and falls with the existence of love. Very good poem. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
