Love Is Like That
I close my eyes,
I see you there
Not only there
But Everywhere,
You stole my heart
And all I do
Is night and day
Think about you.
Love is like that,
You are possessed
By the very one
You want to possess,
Nothing to do,
The die is cast,
I love you more
And never less,
The flame is there,
With each caress.
What you've written about is universally known to be true particularly in the second verse. It would have been better technically speaking, as far as the meter in the poem goes, for it to have remained consistent in the 3rd & 4th lines of the last verse. Otherwise a good write.
