I sure would, but do promise me,
Sooner would you return to me.
Trust me, I won't be ungrateful,
A bird I'm and from a fair school.
I love you so much O my love,
Go soar in spaces far above,
Do enjoy a while in freedom,
Feel blessed, O my bird handsome.
Door set ajar with heavy heart,
He stroked the bird soon to part,
On to palace window ledge,
She flew away afar from cage.
The king was not sure still, the bird
Would ever keep her avowed word,
Yet, return it did to surprise the king,
O to sing sweet tunes of freedom and spring.
To love is never to possess,
It's freedom that the loved ones bless!

I would like to translate this poem
To love is never to possess, It's freedom that the loved ones bless! .....so true. A beautiful poem on love and freedom has been astutely delineated by you dear Pathak sir. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for reading both the parts with such appreciation. But there is one request. Just call me Pathak, or Aniruddha, or Anu, if you treat me as friend, and that will be more than enough..
