From a royal garden
And of the choicest seed—
Love is inherently
Of a unique breed.
True love's felt in words
And is known by its deeds.
And, for ages, is seen
As a lily amongst weed.
Sometimes love is trampled,
And at times it bleeds.
But, alas, it will stand,
Even more than a steed.
Love is known for its creed,
And on faithfulness it feeds.
