Love Of An Ordinary Man Poem by Subrat Pradhan

Love Of An Ordinary Man

The heart is boiling
Like the paddy in the rice container
The earth is revolving
With the gossips like the world
You have no option, without this earth
So you have extended
Your pride and prestige
Your body and ornaments
Your limbs and clothings.
I am an ordinary, ordinary man
How can I cover you
With my small these two hands?

I think
I would surrender myself to you
All total
Covering you with my whole body
Holding tightly
I would give you my signature
On your forehead wiping out
Your husband's nupital sindoor there
Whoever may call me in whatever names
They prefer to.

Heard about this, now I am reading. about an illicit affair! Forbidden fruits may look pretty, but a despair in life. Those human who control those few moments of emotional bursts, are living happily. Others are living happily as well with a lot of worries. Indian based Metaphors are very nice. Well written poem
