Love Quietly Settled Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Love Quietly Settled

Love settled quietly within this heart, waiting to be explored
and met, living a life of wayward emotions, feelings at times
betraying this loving heart.

Always smiling, never letting anyone know the pain hidden there,
inner tears silently spilling from behind each smile, feeling
lost and alone.

So badly wanting the love of another, but he also is guarding
his heart, wonder if our hearts will ever come together, our
heart's desires taking us passionately into a life we should
have had from the beginning.
