Love's Complaint Poem by Reva Kern

Love's Complaint

Rating: 5.0

Yes, from the moment I saw you,
Ravenous beauty
You seduced me
I caught the love in your eyes -
Ah, at once you noticed
It would be necessary to charm me -
Foolishly I would tell you -
With pride you would be silent -
I would need to love you
You would drive me to despair
Finally, I would be relentless
And idolize you
And then you would destroy me.
