Love’s Ends - Poem by Sadiqullah Khan
Of a noble heart indeed,
A nun’s annunciation
The mystic Emily Bronte,
Or the broad side of Virginia Woolf.
The beloved is not only eloquent
Her brows may cast you pious,
Pious and pure are the love’s ’ ends.
-For Portia Burton on her poem ‘My Journey’.
