Loving Will Poem by Jim Norausky

Loving Will

Rating: 5.0

He was on a lifetime journey,
Riding on a multi-use gurney.

While the attendants of the surgeon's flight
were laughing about off-time moments shared.

While time to destination was rapidly approaching,
One asked about his choice, but not reproaching.

Everything possible, nothing, or best efforts by all.

Tears choked back, dad please pick it.
What would you do, son, best efforts dad.

I'll remember the moment always,
And will eventually use the return ticket.

(June 16,2008 on the 10 year anniversary-dear dad)

In my (humble) opinion, the best pieces are always from life experience. I can feel the emotion in this and I will repeat my philosophy that it is best to 'write it out'. Write on, Jim!
