जन्मे थें वे, पौष की 12 को।
जन्मे थें वे, कुछ हटके करने को।
न्याय निष्पक्ष मिले कामना थी उनकी
दर्जा औरत का, नीची जातों को
ऊपर उठाना, सपना था उनका।

विद्रोही बयान देकर, चुनौती
अज्ञानियों को दिया करते ।
धार्मिक आडंबर को सख्त मना करते थे।

शिष्यत्व रामकृष्ण की बडी़ प्रिय थी।
बडा़ ग़हरा अनुभव जीवन था।
जीता दिल लोगों का भाषण शक्ति से।
बनाई दिल में हमारे जगह, अपनी करनी से
एसे महान ज्ञानी पूज्य को नमन हमारा
सदा चमके ये सितारा हमारा।

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Today is a very important day for us because its Vivekananda ji's day.He is a great personality ❤.We all should know about a man like him. So some information about him 👉Swami Vivekananda was a key figure in the introduction of the Hindu philosophy of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world, and he is credited with bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century. He was also a strong advocate for social justice and worked to uplift the status of women and lower castes in Indian society. Early Life - He was born in Kolkata on January 12,1863, as Narendra Nath Datta. - From an early age, he nurtured an interest in Western philosophy, history, and theology, and went on to meet the religious leader Ramakrishna Paramhansa, who later became his Guru. - He remained devoted to Ramakrishna until the latter's death in 1886. The Chicago address: - Vivekananda is especially remembered around the world for his speech at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893. - The speech covered topics including universal acceptance, tolerance and religion, and got him a standing ovation Return to India - After coming back to India, he formed the Ramakrishna Mission in 1897 " to set in motion a machinery which will bring noblest ideas to the doorstep of even the poorest and the meanest." Vivekananda's legacy - Through his speeches and lectures, Vivekananda worked to disseminate his religious thought. - He preached ‘neo-Vedanta', an interpretation of Hinduism through a Western lens, and believed in combining spirituality with material progress. - Some of his prominent books included 'Raja Yoga', ‘Jnana Yoga' & 'Karma Yoga'. The government of India declared January 12th as National Youth Day in 1984 to honor the contributions of Swami Vivekananda and to encourage young people to follow in his footsteps.
