Magic Theory Of The Universe - Poem by Douglas Scotney

The sudden advent of an evolving universe
and its coming sudden disappearance
are credited by magicians,

who can see equilibrium upset by a trick,
the universe released,
evolution of it towards restoration of balance

and, at the moment that occurs,
the disappearance of the universe
as if by magic.

It's no fun after we find out how the trick is done. (Luckily, we haven't quite figured it out) (Report) Reply
