Magic-Turning Mind Poem by Patti Masterman

Magic-Turning Mind

Rating: 5.0

Lose me from these bonds of flesh,
And I'll never more be boring;
Or build me a spaceship, of the mind-
And soon, I will be soaring.

Set me a'sailin on some sea
No man has ever fathomed,
To find the fishy plunder
Some sly mermaid has just ransomed;

Or meet the devil on his terms,
At a minute before midnight
(Be sure to wake before you sign
Away, your one souls god-light)

Just dare to be the treasure
That you'd like so much to find;
For everything lies hidden,
In your magic-turning mind..
