Magpie Bread Poem by Kinsley Lee

Magpie Bread

Young-Jae, Kwon

On the tall branches of a persimmon tree
Redly ripened persimmons.

During in the midst of harvest
Leaving a few fruits behind

Magpie bread,
Only the foods are
Left and withered on the branch-tips
(From the Young-Jae, Kwon's the Anthology of the Sijo. Translated by Kinsley Lee 30th, Mar.2023)
