Delicious Indian cuisine, Spicy red chilly hot dishes, Sweet savouries, piquant pickles, Rice with a variety of vegetables Marinated with turmeric, cumin and coriander, Pulses, grains galore, And a whole lot of tangy delicacies! .. this was a real study and advice to become vegetarians like so many Hindus in india and naturally like Ghandhi...... thank u my dear Geeta....... after living in germany for a l ong time i understand very well what you say........... tony

Tony, i really understand how you feel after living for so many years in Germany. Your root is in your homeland. Your beloved Mother your Source. The smell of the mud of your own soil will always remain as fragrant as ever. Even delicious Indian cuisine will have nostalgic memories. Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment. You may not be knowing, but in Islam, though meat, onion and garlic are not forbidden, but it's preferred to be a vegetarian. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) told the Muslims not to go for pryers after eating things like garlic and onion.
