Make Choice Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Make Choice

Make choice
Wednesday,9th June 2021

Clapping can be made only when
two hands are taken into use
one side observance of peace
never leads to the peaceful life

lives are precious
so people must remain pious
resort to no violence
and must resolve amicably

blood for blood
it shall never supplement for food
the earth may turn red
for all of is to read it with sorry

for whatever may be reasons
it must be negotiated across the table
it is easy to cause troubles
and make people's struggle

decades have gone by
still, the bullets and rockets fly
killing innocents
and present the gloomy picture

'the right to exist' is given
it can't be taken away
we need to make the choice
either live by promises or miss the peace
