Stop once, stop again
Think twice, think for a while
What are we doing with our life
Are we living it worthwhile?
Whom to blame, all are same!
Leading a life full of shame
No love, no affection, no faith, no perfection
No morals, no values, our life just a game
Cries of agony, tears of pain
Fading smiles, sarcastic laughter
Joys diminishing, sorrows everlasting
Life is now a burden for everyone living
Peace, peace, peace! Are words just for sake?
Remove poverty, restore peace are promises they make
Crying babies, worrying mothers, orphaned sons
Disabled fathers, unsecure daughters, unemployed young
These sights rouse no pity in our hearts
They bring no more tears to our eyes
All feelings humane have we lost?
Our blood all cold and cold as frost
When do we wake up from our slumber?
After all dead and all outnumbered?
Let's stand, all steady, all firm
To find relief from these pains that we suffer
Let's make this world a place to dwell
Which all these years was only hell
Let's wipe out from the faces sweet
Tears of sorrow and give them smiles sweet
Let's make this world a place to dwell
For all is well that ends well.
An impressive cry of humanity, but how to get peace, Liddel Hart says, Put yourself into enemie's shoes, so as to see things through his eyes.
