Make Or Break Time Poem by Hannah Davies

I put the letter through Mum's door
Hoping that I will find answers that I've been looking for.
I asked for her to contact me
But if she don't agree, I will leave things be.

There are things I want to know
It's about time that the truth did show.
I suggested we meet or speak on the phone
That anger and upset are bound to be shown.

I have given her five days
For her to think about her ways.
If she is willing to accept
That her actions were wrong, maybe over time I can forget.

All different scenario's going round in my head
Of all the things that could be said.
I have made a list of points I want to say
Have to try and keep the tears at bay.

If we met it will be on neutral ground
A place where other's won't be around.
A time for us to talk things through
To try and work out what to do.

She may decide she doesn't want to know
And if that's the case I will let her go.
There will be no more contact on my part
She will be removed once and for all from my heart.

Who knows what the out-come will be?
But one things for sure, I will no longer allow her to blame me.
Things may not work out for the best
But at least the past wil be laid to rest.
