Martin And Michelle Poem by Hannah Davies

Martin And Michelle

Julie would like to take this opportunity to say
Thank you all for attending this special day
A Valentines Day they will never forget
It was 7 years ago Martin and Michelle first met.

He finally got down on bended knee
And nobody could be happier than Hayleigh, Granddad and Julie
They have already moved into thier new home
Julie still can't believe how much her little girl has grown.

Martin is cycle mad
But he mades Chelle happy and with that Julie is glad
His untidiness drives her crazy
But nobody can accuse Chelle of being lazy.

Chelle has a massive clothing obsession
THis could be one reason why Britain's in recession!
She is always on the go, up on her feet
And the wedding deadline was proving difficult to meet.

THen along came her fairy-god.....well, Mother to lend a hand
To help try and make this special day so grand
Julie is the Mother of the Bride
ANd looking at her right now, she could burst with pride.

It's like a fairy-tale dream
As today Chelle is dressed like a Queen
Marin looking so smart
He also has a very good heart.

For the future Julie wished them all the best
With Marting looking after Chelle, means Julie can have a rest!
So raise your glasses and wish them luck
As Julie's hoping very soon Mrs Quill may start to cluck! !
