Makers Of Weapons Of War Should They Care? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Makers Of Weapons Of War Should They Care?

makers of weapons of war why should they care
it is not their country cities homes being being destroyed
it is not their sons fathers brothers or friends dying

Masters of War sat in their lifestyle palaces luxury hotels
clinking glasses laughing talking around leaden banquet tables
celebrating sold wonder few years of exponential growth

all those NATO tanks aircraft weapons systems bullets guns
given away all need replacing orders were rapid flowing in
all wonderfully free paid for worldwide by dozens of countries

continued escalation in aggressive armed hostilities
meant more exponential demand for death product profits
plenty of play pay expected in next spring offensive
