Making It Out Alive Poem by Lauren Coles

Making It Out Alive

Making it out alive
Volcanos are hot,
The universe is hot,
When astronauts get the opportunity to go to space they have no idea how long they'll going to be gone for,
Space suits are stuffy,
Astronauts can't take much food with them because it will spoil easily,
You have little space to go to the bathroom,
A group of guys can stick up the bathroom,
If a survey shows that more girls should be astronauts because girls don't try to pass gas in public like guys do,
But it's the least of our worries because asteroids are more bad than in the movies,
Asteroids are heavily involved in the earth coming to a halt,
It might feel like you are in a silent movie where there is no sound to hear,
Be glad that you live on earth,
Because people who go up in space don't always come home alive,
People who are in the military have something in common.
