Making Peace With Reality Poem by Sarah Sisson

So many times I catch myself
thinking about things that just

arent true. Yet they seem so real
to me. I can make a big deal out

of nothing. Why do I do this?
Why do I choose to feel pain?

Well, it stems from a past filled
with deception not only of others

but of myself. I look for the bad
and feel like a victim. So I must

pray for peace and know that only
I can make my reality a pleasant one.
