Mama And The Kids Went To Heaven Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Mama And The Kids Went To Heaven

Mama the baby's not fed
'cause you needed to feed your head
Chasing down hole of White Rabbit
No Easter Bunny for kids

Mama you need to get off couch
Turning you into such a slouch
Kids running around dirty
'cause your head's full of pity

Mama it hurts me so bad
To see you so goddam sad
The kids are sitting crying
Their friends in playground laughing

Mama angels all around you
All trying to communicate
The kids are playing with them
Singing and dancing with them

Mama God asked for you too early
As they lowered your damn coffin
I could see you and our kids
Singing dancing with the angels
