Married Forever To This Summer Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Married Forever To This Summer

she adorns me
with the jewelery
of daisies

a dandelion her watch
held on by a daisy strap
time passes slowly

wild flowers
run laughing
through her hair

she places a ring
of daisies upon my finger
married forever to this summer
