Mattermatics: Life Elsewhere

'to let slide'
means 'to allow to deteriorate through negligence';
but with so many meanings
one more won't matter for 'slide'.

Let's let it mean 'mattermatics'.

Then,
doing the slide:
us being not so precious
equals
the finding of life elsewhere
less
our inconsequential suicide.
