ME AND MY LONELINESS
All hopes of ever living with smiles
Have become a distant dream.
One who ismypartner in life
There is no meeting of minds.
We live like two sides of a river
Never destined to meet ever.

My loneliness is worried
Often would ask is there any end?
To this never ending loneliness
In my life.Been my co-traveller
Since my childhood, question
Of my loneliness did worry me a lot.

I tried to console her saying
these phase of left alone would end
Soon since of late my lost love
Comes very often in my dreams
Assuring me, she is still mine
I thanked my loneliness for
Being such a support all these years

I am indeed grateful to my
Misfortune for her abiding
Companionship in life.I am
happy I could afford to be
A good host to my misfortune
My USP in life has been my
Commitment to both
Misfortune and fortune
Alike in life.

It is in my genes.I am like tears
And can live with life with smile
In happiness and sorrow alike.
