Meet The People Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I have always said and still insist
Meet the people of all ages to consist
Scientists, poets, doctors and dentists
As thrust for new friends emerge and persist

I was baffled at the call "Hello sir, "
It is always pleasant for such address to hear
She was zealous student and dentist
Far from carrier, poetess and very much optimistic

It was good to find co- travelers
Whether in bus, rail or as air passengers
It makes altogether different flow
When you have a good company to show

I was no stranger to friends
But she had so much to reveal at the end
Being so good at drawings and poems
That everything concerned to all of them

"Love is like hunger" she flowed with literary test
I was thinking about how to respond with explanation best
Yes it is universal and can be felt at any level
Only one has to rise above and certainly excel

She had thrust for knowledge in mind
I was quick to grasp and find
Her name revealed a real meaning
Almost scoring a point and winning

Readers are emerging from no where
They know more on subject but do not dare
I found her more revealing in her field
Only she held a better place with shield

It is good to acquaint and converse
It is like exchange of views with some sense
It gives lots of pleasure and understanding
I think the matter can go still further and unending

Lots of people turn up and address me as sir
That adds me little worry and concern
It applies break when someone tries to present
Her or his views but restrains to send

I feel so much elated
As talk is subject related
It may see another day light in coming days
With lots of enthusiasm and different ways
