Melancholy Now Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Melancholy Now

When darkness pervades
And I'm feeling down
The moon's glow waking
The werewolf in me
The stars twinkling now
Blood stirring in me
Christ's image right there
There in front of me
Such consolation
Such great compassion
Seemingly not such
To break depression

Blood stirring in me
Werewolf breaking free
Sacrificial lamb
Dies innocently
Such consolation
Such great compassion
Melancholy now

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Although I do not suffer from depression, sometimes the Black Dog tries to take a bite. But I don't let him. He's afraid of The White Light surrounding me.
