Again, a fantastic work, Richard. I know Merton got inspiration from Dickinson. There is a hint of that inspiration in this verse.

M.J., thank you so much for believing it to be a fantastic work. And for the reference to Dickinson. Unlike my Kerouac book, I went cold turkey into this one. Firstly, drawing inspiration from his various works and writing my immediate response. And then, doing some research. Considering that The Seven Storey Mountain is rated as one of the Top 100 books of the century, my research will be stimulating.
